It was a real honour to be asked to photograph this wedding. The whole day from start to finish was full of love and laughter. The brides had added so many personal touches to their day which made it extra special.
Though the brides got ready in the same hotel complex, they stayed apart ready for the big dress reveal. It was a wonderful moment!
Then on to the ceremony at Berkhamsted Town Hall.
Hands down my favourite part of the day was when the joyful brides led the rest of the wedding party through the busy market town from the Town Hall to The Gatsby, for the wedding reception. It was wonderful seeing the shoppers get caught up in the moment, to stop and smile, or even offer congratulations.
The Gatsby restaurant is a super stylish converted cinema, which retains the stylish 1930s art deco interior, and perfectly reflected Sarah & Rose's personalities and their love for cinema. There were some amazing personal touches in keeping with the cinema theme, delicious salted caramel martinis, and Sarah had hand-made wonderful themed lego minifigure scenes for table centrepieces.
