This was my very first wedding as a professional photographer, and I was so lucky. Ellie and Gareth were just lovely - so relaxed and easy going. The weather was perfect - the sun beat down all day long. It was a photographer's dream!
WEDDING CEREMONY - HERTFORD COUNTY HALL
After a lovely relaxed morning of preparation and excitement with Ellie and her family, we made our way to Hertford County Hall for the ceremony.
The grounds of Hertford County Hall make for some beautiful portraits after the ceremony and in June the roses in full bloom were just a perfect backdrop as a softer alternative to the stunning architecture of the stone pillars.
WEDDING RECEPTION - BROXBOURNE GOLF COMPLEX
After the wedding ceremony and formal photographs, we made the short journey to Broxbourne Golf Complex for the reception - an informal setting perfect for a relaxed gathering. Ice creams were served from from the hut and the crazy golf course was open to keep the kids entertained!
DECOR AND DETAILS
Ellie and Gareth had included lots of personal touches, such as home made liqueurs for wedding favours, Ellie even did all the floristry herself too!
THE SPEECHES
A PERFECT HERTFORDSHIRE SUMMER EVENING
After a lovely meal and speeches, it was time to relax, drink and eat some more and enjoy the beautiful golden summer's evening.
PARTY TIME
As the sun began to set on this wonderful day, the happy couple took to the dancefloor for the first dance and they danced the night away!
