This was my very first professional wedding shoot, and I was so lucky. The Bride and Groom were just lovely - so relaxed and easy going, that my nerves soon melted away. The weather was perfect - the sun beat down all day long. It was a photographer's dream!

After a lovely relaxed morning of preparation and excitement with Ellie and her family, we made our way to the beautiful Hertford County Hall for the ceremony.

The grounds of Hertford County Hall make for some beautiful portraits after the ceremony and in June the roses in full bloom were just a perfect backdrop as a softer alternative to the stunning architecture of the stone pillars.

After the wedding Reception and formal photographs, we made the short journey to Broxbourne Golf Complex for the reception. An informal setting for an intimate gathering. They served ice creams from the hut and the crazy golf course was open to keep the kids entertained! Ellie and Gareth had included lots of personal touches, such as home made liqueurs for wedding favours, Ellie even did all the floristry herself too!

After a lovely meal and speeches, it was time to relax, drink and eat some more and enjoy the beautiful golden summer's evening.

As the sun began to set on this wonderful day the happy couple took to the dancefloor for the first dance and they danced the night away!
